Babies (with Moms)
What to do in a baby class? We talk to and interact with our babies in English, the same we do in our native language. In baby classes, moms come in and play with their babies using songs, finger play, stories, baby aerobics, and baby massage. We use the types of language that we naturally use with our babies, focusing on the things we see around us. Moms can take this simple language outside of the classroom and continue talking to their babies in English.
Toddlers (with or without Moms)
Toddler classes are similar in some ways to baby classes, in the sense that we focus on what they are interested in. We use songs, stories, books and games to “play” in English. At this age, kids can very naturally pick up language and kids learn through play. As toddlers, kids’ language skills in their native language are still continually expanding. In toddler classes, we focus on simple language and use that language to read stories, sing songs and play games.
